The Hult Washington DC Alumni Chapter is pleased to announce that we will be holding a teleconference call on February 21, 2012, to present tips and advice in the job hunting process. Thandi Young will present the “Top 5 Strategies To Land a Job in the New Economy”, Maria Pia Segovia will discuss “Job Prospects For Foreign Students With OPT”, and Anthony Perozzi will cover “US Consulting Major Trends in IT”. Alumni who are currently working are invited to provide additional insights during the Q&A portion. The details of the event are:

About the speakers:

Maria Pia Carbonell-Segovia (MBA Boston, 2010) is a retail banking and underwriting professional with more than 5 years of industry experience. Her speciality areas are financial documents analysis, risk and fraud management, and compliance. Pia currently works as an Associate in the Mortgage Consumer Lending group of KPMG LLP’s Financial Risk Management Advisory practice. Pia was a graduate of the Hult Class of 2010 MBA program based in Boston. While at Hult, Pia won the regional Hult Action Learning Project and was awarded "Best Business Proposal" by Philip Healthcare’s management executive team in the summer of 2010.


Thandi Young (MBA Dubai, 2010) is a human resources professional with 15 years of overall industry experience. Her speciality knowledge areas are recruiting, talent acquisition, and negotiation. She has worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies, which include Oracle, Pfizer, and most recently, Bloomberg BNA. Perrozzi (MBA Dubai, 2010)is a finance and IT professional with 5 years of overall industry experience. His speciality knowledge areas are IT offshoring/outsourcing initiatives, IT audit, change management, financial accounting and market research best practices. He has worked in both corporate and consulting roles and has traditionally served as a communications liaison between business units.
