Event description

Description

What will this workshop involve?

Clinical Psychologists @ Nurture deliver a 2 hour workshop to help parents understand their child’s emotions, sensory needs and behaviours. Helping parents understand how to manage and help their child with emotions and behaviour is the best strategy for preventing difficulties in the future.

These workshops focus specifically on the needs of children who display social difficulties, attention & concentration difficulties and/ or attachment difficulties. We explore some practical skills and approaches, to enable you to help your child manage their emotions and behaviour.

During this session parents will be given activities to practice at home with your child and handouts will be provided.

This workshop is aimed at parents with children aged between 5 - 11.

The dates for this workshop are:

Part 1 and 2 combined - 12th November 2019

Time: 10:00-12:00pm

*Please note: These workshops are funded by NHS Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale CCG and therefore they are only intended for PARENTS living in these areas.

We have self-funded workshops available to parents and professionals who live outside of these areas, held in Bury. Please visit our website www.cpnurture.co.uk or event page to keep updated.
