Event description

Description

Looking for SME’s to help shape a free service to support organisations with staff ill health.GM recognises that there is a co-dependent relationship between health and work: good quality work is good for health, and economic growth relies on a healthy, productive workforce.
The GM Combined Authority and GM Health and Social Care Partnership leadership have agreed to deliver a joint programme to address health and employment issues across the GM population.

What do we want to do?
The first priority within the programme is to develop an effective early intervention service to people with mental and physical health conditions, who are at risk of falling out employment, or are newly unemployed.
Come and Tell us:

1. What do you think about this proposed service – is it needed?
2. What challenges do small businesses face when dealing with staff who have health problems?
3. What key things to we need to consider when developing the service?

Speakers: Michelle Atkinson (Health and Social Care Partnership) and Laura Starrett (Pinsent Masons)
