HENSOL CASTLE - YOUR CASTLE FOR A DAY

When it comes to planning a fairytale wedding we don’t think you’ll find a more idyllic setting than Hensol Castle in the Vale of Glamorgan. Our 400-year-old Grade I-listed castle is the stuff of childhood dreams.

Its majestic turrets, grand staircases and 15-acre serpentine lake provide the perfect backdrop for breath-taking photographs and set the tone for a magical celebration. Hensol Castle is a luxury wedding venue steeped in history but there’s nothing old-fashioned or fussy about it. We’ve spent millions lovingly restoring the castle to its former glory and it shows. Make your entrance on the red carpet before exchanging vows in the oak room, overlooking the lake.

Afterwards, you can catch up with your guests in the reception hall, drawing room or morning room - you decide. With the formalities over, our courtyard hall is the perfect place to kick off your Choos and party, surrounded by all the people who mean the most to you in the world. Expect a feast fit for a king or queen and a dance floor big enough to throw your bouquet, as well as some serious shapes. Later, you can hot-foot it to the jetty to watch the sun set on your special day.
