Due to the success of the Eventbrite self-booking system we are releasing more dates for the above.
All Officers, Firefighters and many additional public facing roles such as; Custody Officers, PCSO’s and Crime Scene Investigators are all entitled to the Hepatitis B vaccine.
We have planned a safe system of work which will allow us to see as many people as possible in order to start to clear the backlog of appointments. This may mean that you have to queue for a short while, maintaining 2m distance and as this may be outside for a short period please wear weather appropriate clothing.
The Hep B Vaccine Course Structure
The course of 3 vaccinations that are given is completed to a “standard” schedule for Hep B which is 3 vaccinations over a period of six months at 0,1 & 6 months with a blood test 4-6 weeks later to determine the immune response to the vaccine.
For vaccination you can attend at Lewes Fire Station Occupational health dept or Mount Browne Occupational health and go through a one way system to have your vaccination safely and swiftly. Please use the link below and register your attendance via the Eventbrite events system.
