About this event

The third-person point of view can be as intimate as first person or an all-seeing eye that can get into the hearts and heads of many characters. But what makes this point of view fly or fail? And is third person the correct point of view for your story?

In this workshop, led by professional editor Lorna Partington, we'll enjoy some great third-person writing, examine the techniques and limitations of this point of view, and have a go at both 'close' and 'omniscient' narration.

The session is aimed at people with some experience of fiction writing, and it would benefit anyone with a story or novel in development.

If the event is sold out, please join the waiting list. If there is sufficient demand, we will move to a larger venue.
