From two impassioned female voices, an evening of storytelling and music to return us to ourselves. Henrietta is a storyteller whose work is ‘funny, sacred, deep and real’, while Taïs is a multidisciplinary artist and musician whose songs give voice to the many shades of the human heart.

What does it mean to be a woman who is not a mother? Interwoven with the magic of Mary Magdalene and her long-lost gospel, this biographical story is a humorous, loving quest to discover a woman’s true creative potential and authority - the remembering that each of us carries within us a knowing that surpasses anything we can be taught.
Henrietta Bowen is a psychotherapist, breathworker and performer. She got inspired to tell stories on the 3-month Storytelling Beyond Words course at Emerson College in 2023, and co-lead the course this year. She trained in clown at the School of Clown and Comedy in Montréal and is now part of an all-female troupe of idiot friends, Can’t Understand Nothing Twatface. Henrietta has performed her biographical tale at UK festivals and, in 2024, took it to audiences in New Zealand.

With a mixed cultural background spanning Corsica, Scotland and India, and having lived in various places from Brazil to the Balkans, Taïs has cultivated a sense of belonging that finds its centre in the human heart and in Nature. This is reflected in her music, which carries a diversity of influences, while creating an intimate space for the audience to connect to themselves. Her first LP will be released at the end of 2025.
