This is an ONLINE event.
If you are writing poetry but don't know any other poets, or if you just fancy a regular ONLINE poetry check-in every two weeks, this group is for you! We will read and share work and give each other gentle and constructive feedback. We'll also do a writing exercise together, set ourselves poetry prompt challenges and talk about poetry.
Everyone is welcome, whether you've written volumes of poetry or are just dipping your toe in the poetry waters. It's just an hour - enough to kickstart your passion for poetry! It's also about building a community of poets and finding the connections between us, no matter where in the world we are from.
You will be emailed the details of the Zoom meeting directly, as well as the prompt for this week's session.
This session will have a festive twist!
Herding Cats Poetry Writing Meetups are hosted by Anne Grange, an associate of the Writers Workshop, based in Sheffield UK. Anne is an experienced workshop leader and an enthusiastic poet, editor and novelist. Follow this link to my website if you need more info.
