Here, Now and Light

As part of the Channel Islands / Puglia Artistic Exchange, Channel Islands artists Katie Bastiman, Oliver Le Gresley and Emily Linane have been working together with the Puglia artists Alberto Curci, Mariangela Conte and Pasquale Oa exploring artistic forms, technologies and choreographies in response to the specific landscapes, heritage and cultural histories shared by the Channel Islands and the Puglia region.

After an initial visit to the Channel Islands they finally arrived during the summer to the island of Tremiti where this evening of work was first presented. Speaking between the here and now, across time and space and the lines of connection that are possible through movement, composition, poetry and living materials, this evening of performance is a sharing of three island cultures meeting through changing light.
