MORNING WORKSHOP CHOICES (10.15am - 11.45am)

Relax your way to better health through Yoga Nidra with Nanna Coppens

Is there a difference between resting and relaxing? Yoga Nidra literally means yogic sleep. More precisely it is the art of deeply relaxing body and mind so that the thought processes slow down completely while remaining conscious throughout. In the last few years it has gained popularity as a therapeutic tool to alleviate stress and anxiety, but it is much more than that.

Yoga Nidra is a spiritual practice that can lead you back to your true essence without the resistance you may experience during meditation. The only requirement is that you stay conscious throughout the process. Nanna Coppens will facilitate a transformative and deeply nurturing experience of Yoga Nidra.

Toning Yoga (TOGA) with Radha Patel

Are you looking for an efficient way to combine a physical workout with spiritual practice, to reduce your stress levels and boost your mental health? With aspects from ancient eastern yoga practices and inspiration from the rapidly evolving western fitness world TOGA is designed to give you the best of both worlds; a physical boost to you spirituality, or a spiritual and inner boost to your training. Be ready to get your pulse racing, mind clear and body moving in ways you've never felt before! Practice a dynamic innovative form of yoga, and learn smart tips for optimizing your nutrition.

Outrageous Courage with Monica Staniforth

Feel inspired to make authentic changes and to live as you're truly meant to, with confidence and ease. A beautifully crafted sequence of movement combined with empowering affirmations, designed to bring you closer to your most authentic self.

Know Thyself and Transform Habits into Choices with Louise Rowan

Is it possible to choose how we respond to, rather than react to, life? In this workshop you will learn powerful techniques including yoga, meditation and affirmation to help change unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviour. Learn how to detach more easily from the emotional pull of relationships and situations that trigger your stress levels and leave you feeling drained. You'll come away feeling empowered, energised and able to navigate life's challenges with a fresh perspective.

Yoga and Your Dosha Type with Annie Jones

Would you like to deepen your yoga practice by looking at your mental, physical and emotional constitution through the system of the three Doshas? This is a workshop for anyone interested in understanding how Ayurveda can inform your yoga practice and teaching. Learn to use Ayurveda to design a session to meet every eventuality: how to energise when tired, how to remain cool and calm when irritated or angry and how to get motivated and passionate about being a powerful co- creator with life.

AFTERNOON WORKSHOP CHOICES (2.15pm - 3.45pm)

• Feel completely inspired by the process of using mantra to find your own natural voice

Meditation for Successful Living with Nigel & Orina Murphy

Can meditation be simple and yet also profound? Dru Meditation is about finding a still inner point from which you can look at the world in a different way and discover a new perspective on your life.

This workshop is an ideal introduction to Dru Meditation and will give you a practical toolkit of techniques that can be integrated effortlessly into your daily life to help you to sleep better: decrease stress and anxiety; improve memory; slow the aging process and so much more.

The Subtle Science of Longevity with Chandra Goswami

In his Yoga Sutras, Patanjali conveyed the importance of a personal daily practice, and delineated this into simple stages known as the 8 Limbs.

Looked at more closely, the journey through these stages gives us important clues to increasing our energy (prana shakti) the longevity of our life, and the subsequent positive influence we have on those around us.

In this workshop we will explore the power of:

• sadhana, or dedicated practice, to bring steadiness and peace of mind

• seva, or selfless service to balance our energy, neutralising any negativity in or around us

• sangha, or anchoring our sense of belonging and shared purpose with like-minded friends

• punya, or the act of building spiritual credit to manifest positive circumstances in our lives

Yoga and Dance with Kate Carter

Can I build strength and suppleness, without it feeling like a workout? Dru Dance is yoga and dance combined, choreographed to uplifting music. It's stress-busting and energetic and focuses on dynamic, flowing movement to create both strength and flexibility and improve your muscle tone and stability.

This cleverly designed fusion of dance and yoga will help you to feel more alert, energetic and feel great about yourself and it can also improve your memory.

Yoga Therapy for Mental Wellbeing with Sylvia Barrington

When our internal Prana Vayus are out of balance our physical, mental and emotional bodies are thrown into chaos. Using Dru Yoga therapeutically you can help yourself and your students develop a strong connection with our internal life force and allow wellbeing to be powerfully brought back to balance.

Working with flowing postures and using Dru Yoga principles creates a powerful tool for health. Find out how to work with your students at a deeper level to establish long lasting change. (Open to postgraduate level).

Using our 40 years of experience in transforming people’s health, the techniques and practices that we teach are profound. We can’t wait to introduce you to what Dru has to offer, at our summer event on Saturday 27th July 2019.
