Event description

Description

We're one of a nationwide network of Code Clubs. Our aim is to inspire the next generation to get excited about computer science and digital making.

We provide step-by-step projects that will teach you how to create games, animations and websites. At the same time, you are earning the Key concepts of coding. Our projects are suitable for ages 7 and up, plus are great fun for adults too!

Our team of volunteers can teach Scratch, HTML/CSS, Python and 3D Blendr. Along with MIT Lifelong Kindergarten and design thinking skills, to assist you in prototyping your own digital project.

We meet Fortnightly, offering two after-school sessions per evening:

4.15pm till 5.15pm: for beginners and children 7-10 years old
5pm till 6pm: for youngsters 10+ alongside intermediate coders
Light snacks will be served at 5:15pm.

Young coders who are still working on their project may choose to stay until 6pm.

Families Welcome, Learn together. Code Club Sessions are Free to attend.

We often have a waiting list, so to ensure your child's place, we ask that you RSVP with a small donation to NAS Herefordshire branch.

On attending your chosen session, your donation is refundable.
