Heritage afternoon tea hosted by the Mayor of Warrington

In a history of two thousand years it's not easy to pick out a decade that was of crucial importance for Warrington's history, but the 1980s was such a decade. Dr Bill Cooke, author of The Story of Warrington: The Athens of the North, will give an account of the significant political, social and intellectual events of the 1980s that shaped the town's future.
