Heritage afternoon tea hosted by the Mayor of Warrington
Overview
Popular local Historian Harry Wells has been photographing Warrington since 1972. The talk takes place in two parts, firstly 'Travails with a box camera' consists of his efforts to photograph the old town centre with a box camera in the early seventies before the redevelopment. The second part takes us on a walk from Market Gate down Buttermarket Street and Church Street then back via Brick Street to finish at Cockhedge Mills.
