West Midlands IHBC Branch Meeting and CPD Day

Tuesday 28th November 2017

Theme: Heritage and Localism

Cost of event: £7.50 (to cover lunch provided) to be paid in advance through Eventbrite

Venue: New Testament Church of God: 11-13 Oughton Road, Birmingham, B12 0DF

Train: It is recommended to arrive at the venue on the No.50 bus from Moor Street (adjacent to the rear of Selfridge’s). See maps at the end of the Agenda

Programme:

10:30 Coffee & Registration

10.45 Brief Branch meeting plus any case studies/general branch meeting

11.00 Introduction to the theme of the day

11.05 Talk on the Baths from Community Group/NT

11.30 Tour of the building (with history/info on building/current issues proposals as we go round)

12.15 Short talk from Harriet about neighbourhood planning

12:30 Warm Buffet Lunch served in the Church

13.30 Walk to Moseley Road Baths to include discussion on the significance and history of the building

15.30 Finish

The bus from town is the No.50, towards Maypole/ Alcester, they are very frequent every 5 mins, and is behind Selfridges, a short walk from New St Station and opposite Moor St Station.

Alight at the First stop, Stop 1 called Moseley Rd: Highgate Middleway (A4540) - Please note that the Hall is only accessed from Oughton Rd.

The Bus stop for getting back into town after the visit to the Baths is from directly outside the Baths and is the same No.50 Bus.
