Reserve your place on one of our optional Monday morning tours or for workshops scheduled during the conference.

About this Event

TOURS:

Reserve your place for optional tours of the University of Lincoln's Conservation labs and/or the Media Archive for Central England (MACE) on the Monday morning of the conference. To join a tour, meet at the Registration Desk in the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre (LPAC). Tours are available at 11am and 12pm.

Tour 1: Lincoln Conservation

Explore the University's specialist conservation labs, including 'Lincoln Conservation', specialists in the conservation and restoration of the interior and exterior features of listed and historic buildings, historic artefacts, collections management and historic paint analysis and research.

Tour 2: The Media Archive for Central England

MACE is recognised as the specialist public film archive for the East and West Midlands. They aim to make film, video and digital materials of the region as accessible as possible, by collecting, preserving and documenting moving images of the region as well as those filmed by people from the region, to better understand, appreciate and enjoy the history and culture of the Midlands.

WORKSHOPS:

Book a place at one of the scheduled workshops in the Digital Crit Room, Nicola de la Haye Building:

1. Spence, Bewell & Darzentas (University of Nottingham, Mixed Realty Lab) 'Ideation for Heritage Visitor Experiences: Creating a global community knowledgebase through card-play' - MONDAY 3 JUNE, 3pm-5pm

2. Crane & McGrattan () 'IIIF and Web Annotations' - TUESDAY 4 JUNE, 3.45pm-4.45pm

Please note:

Booking in advance is not essential but is advised to secure a place. Places may be available on the day - please enquire at the Registration Desk in LPAC.

You need to have purchased your delegate ticket before you can book a complimentary place on one of the tours or workshops (book your delegate place here if you haven't already).
