About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Heritage Open Days is England's largest free festival of history and culture involving thousands of local volunteers and organisations. This years festival theme is architecture and this free family art workshop will enable children aged 6 plus to create new artwork based on the Framework Knitters Museum.

The workshop will be led by local artist Debra Webster—known professionally as "Debsta"—is a multifaceted artist, illustrator, educator, author and community advocate based in Nottinghamshire, UK. Her work blends creativity with a commitment to emotional well-being, particularly among children and families. She works in a variety of media and her art has been showcased in local solo and group exhibitions and is available to view through her website www.Debsta.com

Please note, parents/guardians need to remain with children for the whole session.
