For this year's Heritage Open Days, step inside the world of computing history at The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) with 25 free tickets available per open day!
We kindly ask that you only book 2 free tickets per booking to give others the opportunity to book.
Located on the historic Bletchley Park Estate, TNMOC is home to the world’s largest collection of working historic computers, from the codebreaking Colossus to the machines that shaped the digital world we live in today.

To celebrate Heritage Open Days 2025, we’re offering 25 free tickets per day on the dates that we’re open during the festival period. Advance booking is essential.
What are Heritage Open Days?
Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, involving thousands of local volunteers and organisations. Every year for 10 days in September it brings people together to celebrate their heritage, community and history. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life. It’s offers the public a chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.
Frequently asked questions
A total of 25 free tickets are available per open day during the Heritage Open Days 2025 period. These tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once all free tickets for a given day have been allocated, any further sign-ups will be placed on a waiting list. If a ticket becomes available, we will notify individuals on the waiting list in the order they signed up.
If you have booked a free ticket but are no longer able to attend, please cancel your booking as soon as possible to allow someone on the waiting list the opportunity to visit.
Free tickets are valid only for the date selected at the time of booking and cannot be transferred to another date. Free ticket holders will have full access to The National Museum of Computing’s exhibitions and displays during standard opening hours.
