Originally a Thomas Coram foundling hospital, the site was purchased by the Society of Friends in the 1770s for the establishment of a school. The buildings are extensive and impressive. Visitors will have access to the exterior and to the library for the Q&A session.The school was founded in 1779 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) to educate boys and girls.

Car parking for visitors is available, then meet at the front main entrance corridor 5 minutes before start time. There is a limited number of steps in and out of the buildings.
