Heroes and Villains: The good, the bad and the ugly in The City's history
Sat, March 25, 2017, 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM GMT
The history of The City of London is littered with mad, bad, brilliant, and dangerous characters that all left their imprint.
Some sought to create, some to destroy. Some had no clue as to the consequences of their actions (or inaction); others just found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time and suffered the consequences.
But they all had one thing in common; a fascinating story to tell in the history of our great City, so why not come and meet them all!
This walk includes a visit to the magnificent Great Hall in the Guildhall (subject to access being available).
The walk commences at Liverpool Street station (meet at the Kindertransport memorial outside the Old Broad Street exit opposite platforms 1 & 2) and ends at St Bart's Hospital (West Smithfield), walk duration is about 1½-2 hours.
You can check your travel options at the TFL Journey Planner.
