Khang is the Chief Credit Officer at Heron, a technology platform that provides accredited investors with personalized private credit solutions. In his role, Khang shapes the company’s credit vision and strategy, and oversees all aspects of investment research, underwriting, and risk management. Beyond Heron, Khang has held senior leadership roles and advised founders across multiple fintech companies, guiding them through some of their most transformative milestones and key inflection points.


His achievements include launching innovative business credit card and lending programs, designing complex risk-scoring models, building high-performing credit and risk teams, and raising over $700 million from top-tier venture capital and debt firms. Earlier in his career, Khang spent a decade managing institutional capital.


He structured, deployed, and advised on over $20 billion in client and principal transactions spanning direct lending, asset-based finance, and special situations. Recognized as a thought leader in alternative investments, particularly private credit, Khang has been featured in leading outlets such as Bloomberg and the Financial Times. Khang graduated from Princeton University, where his senior thesis examined risk-seeking behaviours, informed by his studies with Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman.
