Hertford Company of Archers - Spring 2018 Beginners' Course

1. Dates are 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd of June.

2. You must attend all four sessions to get a completion certificate.

3. Archery is a very inclusive sport, if you have any special requirements, let us know.

4. Please wear shoes or boots (trainers are OK). No open-toed footwear.

5. Avoid wearing baggy sleeves and tops - they can catch on bowstrings.

6. For the same reason, if you have long hair, bring something to tie it back with. If you have a piercing that might catch a bowstring, you’ll need cover it up or remove it for the lesson.

7. Bring a snack and a drink for the break.

How many places are available?

We have 24 places available for this course, so it's first come, first served.

How much does it cost?

The cost is £85.

Is there a minimum age?

Yes. Participants must be over 8 years of age. There is no maximum! Young people under 18 must have a separate Young Persons Coaching Agreement completed by their parent or guardian - contact us and we'll send you one. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I swap any of the dates?

The dates are fixed and firm and can't be swapped.

Is there parking?

Yes. Car parking is available at the venue. There is a 5mph speed limit on the drive up to the car park.

What's the refund policy?

We don't offer refunds, but you can transfer to the next beginners' course.

What equipment do you provide?

We provide all the equipment you will need, to suit all ages and abilities. You will be supported by Archery GB qualified coaches and experienced archers from our club.

How do I join the club?

Once you've completed the course successfully you can apply to join. We have a limit on membership and we're very close to that limit, so membership isn't guaranteed.
