Join us for a relaxed Christmas meet-up at Ashridge Park — come along in your favourite Christmas jumper and enjoy a gentle walk (on easy terrain) followed by a warm cuppa at the Bakehouse Café.

This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow people professionals, share experiences, and reflect on the year in a friendly, informal setting. Whether you’re looking to expand your professional network, exchange ideas, or simply take a well-earned break outdoors, we’d love to see you there.

This is a light, informal walk on public paths suitable for most abilities.

About the host

Ruth George is Branch Chair of the CIPD Branch in Hertfordshire. She has been an independent HR Consultant for the past 13 years. Prior to becoming a consultant she worked in the corporate HR world for over 15 years. Ruth also runs the successful HR Indies group and has been delivering regular sessions, usually via Teams for local HR Consultants to gather, share ideas and challenges as well as opportunities to collaborate together.
