Het grote verkiezingsdebat over ontwikkelingssamenwerking en veiligheid in tijden van crisis

Een initiatief van de Dutch Coalition on Disability and Development (DCDD)

DCDD, in afstemming met Partos en The Hague Humanity Hub, organiseert het verkiezingsdebat waarin internationale solidariteit centraal staat. Politieke partijen gaan met elkaar in gesprek over de toekomst van ontwikkelingssamenwerking, noodhulp, defensie en het belang van toegankelijkheid in het buitenlandbeleid.

In een wereld vol conflicten, klimaatcrises en toenemende ongelijkheid vragen we: welke keuzes maakt Nederland? En hoe zorgen we ervoor dat de meest gemarginaliseerde groepen niet worden uitgesloten, waaronder mensen met een beperking? Hoe gaan we dat betalen?

Sluit aan bij dit urgente debat, waar toegankelijkheid geen bijzaak is, maar het uitgangspunt. Van harte welkom zijn vertegenwoordigers van maatschappelijke organisaties, beleidsmakers, professionals uit de ontwikkelingssector, onderzoekers, studenten en andere betrokkenen die zich willen verdiepen in of willen bijdragen aan een rechtvaardige en inclusieve wereld.

The Grand Election Debate on International Development and Security in Times of Crisis

A Dutch Coalition on Disability and Development (DCDD) initiative

DCDD, in partnership with Partos and The Hague Humanity Hub, is organising an election debate focusing on international solidarity. Political parties will discuss the future of development cooperation, humanitarian aid, defence and the importance of accessibility and social inclusion in foreign policy.

In a world marked by conflict, climate crises, and growing inequality, we pose the following questions: What choices will the Netherlands make? How will we ensure that the most marginalised people are not left behind (among which persons with disabilities)? How will we fund these initiatives? Join us for this crucial debate, where accessibility and social inclusion are not an afterthought but a fundamental starting point.
