hey, cyborg Open Call — Artist Submission for Group Exhibition
Overview
hey, cyborg — Open Call for Artists
Homeland once referred to the soil that shaped our senses and emotions.
Now, as countless data traces—images, texts, habits, even biological rhythms—accumulate in the digital realm, a new, intangible territory emerges.
Is this network of data becoming our new home without earth or scent?
As technology extends our perception, enhances our senses, and promises to upload consciousness, the body itself becomes a negotiable site.
When flesh merges with code, how do we redefine identity and belonging?
hey, cyborg is an exhibition reflecting on the tension between body and data.
It asks: as the foundations of human existence—body, experience, and perception—migrate into digital space, how do we confront the displacement of identity and the longing for home?
The exhibition will take place at 67 York Street Gallery, London, from 30 November to 2 December 2025, inviting artists to explore Embodiment/ Diaspora/ Biopolitics/ Disembodiment/ Technological Alienation/Cultural Memory.
This call is open to artists, researchers, and creative practitioners worldwide.
Works may take any form—installation, moving image, sound, text, performance, or sensory-based media—that engages with questions of embodiment, posthumanism, and digital intimacy.
There is no submission fee.
Selected artists will be required to pay a £100 exhibiting fee, which will go directly toward exhibition operation and space retirement.
Selected artists will be promoted on art media platforms and featured on 67 York Street Gallery’s official website , with the possibility of being invited to future GUSTAR Art Space exhibitions and collaborative projects.
