H&F Advice Conference 2016

The future of advice - working together for better results

This conference is the first conference of the H&F Advice Forum and will be a great chance to hear from topical speakers and funders, to find out information on services within the borough and to meet up with colleagues within the sector. There will also be an exhibition area where organisations can promote their services. There is no charge for conference entry or exhibition space.

The conference is supported by H&F council: Councillor Stephen Cowan, Leader of the Council, will give the opening address.

The morning session will cover The Future of Advice and shifting need and the afternoon session will cover Funding Advice Work.

Our keynote speakers will be Lord Low of Dalston CBE in the morning and Lord Lord Bach in the afternoon. Other speakers include Advice UK and The Big Lottery.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This conference is for staff and volunteers from all organisations who work with people needing advice. We expect attendees to be from a wide range of organisations, including:

Advice organisations
Third sector support agencies
Community organisations
LBHF
The conference is open to non H&F organisations who work in the advice field
