The beginning of 2014 has heralded an increasingly positive new year, with evidence suggesting that the market is showing real signs of improvement and growth. However, recovery remains fragile and unevenly spread with some fundamental challenges facing any sustained increase in output. Issues such as access to development finance, land supply, securing and training skilled labour and the negotiation of realistic and affordable developer contributions need to be confronted if we are to meet housing need and demand.
Our focus has already turned to these areas and we will shortly be undertaking a series of “regional roadshows” in order to personally brief members on current and future priorities, as well as directly receive your feedback to ensure Homes for Scotland continues to effectively meet your needs.
These sessions will also allow us to brief non-members on the role of Homes for Scotland and what we do, whilst also enabling networking with other industry representatives and providing the opportunity to question our Executive Team about how your own business could maximise the benefits of membership
Suitable for senior management level, this free session will take place on Thursday 13 March, 4pm-6pm at Burness Paull, 1 Union Wynd, Aberdeen, AB10 1SL.
Book your place now by clicking the relevant tab above or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact details to be added onto a waiting list.
NB: Places will be issued on a first come, first served basis, with all events subject to demand.
