Hi3 Network: Maidstone Networking

Hi3 Network: Maidstone Networking is a monthly networking and creative technology demo event that takes place at Maidstone Studios.

These events are for small businesses, freelancers and sole traders to come together, share their own knowledge with peers and benefit from the technology and resource available through HI3 Network.

Each event will follow a similar structure of networking, guest speakers and tech demonstrations. The even is split across the studio space and co-work lounge of the Hi3 Network Hub based at Maidstone Studios (ME14 5NZ).

The August edition of this series events will demonstrate the workflow processes associated with the creation of Metahumans. This demonstration will explore the data capture through to animation workflow using MetaHuman software. This demonstrate will be led by Hi3 Network's Technical Development Manager and LSBU academics.

Who are we here at Hi3 Network?

Hi3 Network is defining the future of moving-image, screen-based and creative technologies through innovative research and development. A network of specialists, researchers, and businesses developing new products, services, experiences, and new research at our hubs in Canterbury, Folkestone, and Maidstone. Technologies we are working in are virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, motion capture, virtual production, computer-generated imagery, gaming, animation, eSports, etc.

Hi3 Network is a £6.1m project that is part-funded by the European Development Fund. The partners are London South Bank University, Screen South, Creative Folkestone, Canterbury Christ Church University, and Maidstone Television Studios.
