About this event
Women’s-Only Event | Intimate Gathering | 13.09.25 | Battle, East Sussex
A message from your host:
Hello, beautiful souls, thank you for being here. This event has been lovingly and intentionally curated with each of you in mind. It’s a sacred space to soften, to surrender, and to feel gently held.
The timetable has been thoughtfully woven to offer a rich variety of experiences. You’ll be able to choose from sessions spanning music, art, movement, education, and more. Each offering is unique and held only once throughout the day, and that’s the magic of it.
For those who feel called, we’re also offering *additional 1:1 sessions with our experienced therapists and teachers, in our healing bell tents. All our practitioners, therapists, chefs, and teachers are experienced, conscious women. View our website to find out more about them.
You are free to move through the day in your own way. Follow your intuition, choose what calls to you, or simply allow the experience to unfold naturally.
Our venue is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a private, peaceful haven with sweeping landscapes, a spacious marquee, and access to a farmhouse property where some of the more intimate sessions will take place. If you need a pause between activities, there are plenty of quiet outdoor spaces to retreat and reflect. We warmly encourage everyone to bring a blanket and pillow for added comfort.
Tickets are intentionally limited to honour the intimacy and sacredness of the gathering. We encourage early booking if you feel called to join us. We’ve done our utmost to keep the day as cost-effective as possible. Your ticket includes access to all group sessions on the timetable, a hearty vegan and gluten-free lunch, and refreshments throughout, with the exception of healing tent sessions, which are bookable separately.
With love,
Sarah x

Hidden Acres, Netherfield Place Farm, Battle, TN33 9PY. Please be sure to enter the full address, as the postcode alone will direct you to our neighbours.
Doors open at 9:00 AM, and we’ll close the day by 5:00 PM, or hang out around the campfire. Opening ceremony starts at 9:30 AM, first session starts at 10:00 AM.
If you're traveling by car, we highly encourage carpooling to help reduce the number of vehicles on the property. We have field parking, which is limited to 60 cars. Once the car park reaches capacity, you’ll need to use street parking and walk down to the venue. It takes around 10 minutes to walk.
The driveway is approximately 800 metres long, located in a rural area, and is a work in progress. It’s uneven and not suitable for low-clearance vehicles. Most cars can safely drive down when taken slowly at around 5 mph, anyone choosing to drive down does so entirely at their own risk.
If you wish to travel by train, the nearest stations are Battle or Hastings. From there, we recommend taking a taxi. We also suggest arranging for your taxi to drop off and pick up from the street parking area, and then for you to walk down.
Please keep an eye out for the Hidden Acres sign at the top of the drive, then you’ll know you’re in the right place. A parking marshal will be available from 9:00-10:30 AM and again from 4:00-6:00 PM to greet you at the entrance and guide you.
We have a parking field limited to 60 cars and street parking. Street parking is a 10 min walk to venue. We are not liable for any damage to vehicles, nor do we take any responsibility for vehicles left in the car park or on surrounding street parking.
If you're walking down, please make sure to wear suitable footwear. We're in a rural area, so heels are not advised! Stick to flats, sandals, trainers, or comfortable activewear shoes when walking down the driveway. Be mindful of any thistles if going barefoot!
When you arrive at the festival, our lovely volunteers will be at the gate ready to scan your QR code. We’re unfortunately unable to offer refunds.
In the event that Hidden Acres needs to cancel the festival due to low ticket sales, you will receive a full refund, minus the booking fee charged by Eventbrite.
For this event, children are not permitted, simply because we don’t have the infrastructure in place to safely support them.
This is a strictly no alcohol or drugs event. Anyone found to be in violation of this policy will be escorted off the premises with no refund.
Strictly no nuts are to be brought onto the property. Your ticket includes a delicious, hearty, and wholesome hot meal. While the final menu is still being confirmed, it will be both vegan and gluten-free.
If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know in advance by emailing hello@hiddenacres.co.uk. We will do our best to accommodate you, but in the unlikely event that we can't, your ticket price will remain the same and you will need to bring your own food.
The patio or farmhouse will host a water and herbal tea station. No coffee or english tea provided. We’ll provide recyclable cups, but we strongly encourage you to bring your own refillable bottle.
Each session lasts 45 minutes, allowing plenty of time for you to transition to your next chosen session. Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are limits on the number of participants for each session.
The sessions held in the house accommodate smaller groups, while the marquee can accommodate larger groups. All areas of the site can be reached within 1 to 2 minutes. We recommend arriving at your chosen session 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, so you have time to find your spot & relax.
We have three healing bell tents that will be occupied by wonderful practitioners, available for an additional cost. You will need to bring either cash or a card to enjoy these sessions. You can also prebook/prepay. No additional payment will be required for anything else.
Our rural venue currently faces challenges in providing wheelchair accessibility due to the natural landscape and historic structures, we are actively working to improve this. We are committed to making our venue more inclusive and are in the process of exploring solutions.
This is a female-only event, and all therapists and practitioners identify as female. However, some members of the operations team, such as the sound engineer, may be male. They will not remain on-site, but will be on call and may need to pop in briefly ~ in case of a PA/sound or technical issues.
If you wish to travel by train, the nearest stations are Battle or Hastings. From there, we recommend taking a taxi. We also suggest arranging for your taxi to drop off and pick up from the street parking area, and then for you to walk down. Please pre-book your cab in advance.
Please check the weather closer to the event date. If rain is forecasted, dress warmly and consider wearing boots or wellies. All of our sessions will be held under cover, but in case of rain, you will need waterproof footwear/clothing for traveling between locations.
Please bring a pillow/blankets to sit on; we will provide ample yoga mats, but if you prefer to double up, feel free to bring your own. In case of hot weather, pack loose, flowy clothing along with active wear if you plan to participate in Yoga or Pilates sessions.
It’s really important that you let your hosts and any yoga or movement teachers know about any injuries or physical limitations ahead of time. Please stay mindful of your own body and its needs, only do what feels right for you. If anything feels uncomfortable or painful, please stop straight away.
While we do our very best to make everything safe and accessible, please be aware we’re based in the countryside, and the ground can be a little uneven in places. We can’t take responsibility for any injuries that happen during or after the retreat, so listen to your body and take care of yourself.
We will have a professional photographer and videographer on-site to capture the event. By attending the festival, you are consenting to being photographed and recorded for promotional purposes unless you indicate otherwise. They will be respectful and considerate.
Toilets will be available on the main field, but there are three steps leading to them.
We reserve the right to adjust any unsold ticket prices without any obligation to the purchaser.
