Let's Talk... Drugs and Alcohol

Training delivered by Islington's Drug and Alcohol Services and Public Health

Use this page to sign up for training. Anyone working with Islington residents, including staff and volunteers across statutory services and third sectors is eligible.

Sessions are either in-person, hybrid or online.

Let's Talk Drugs and Alcohol sessions aim to improve knowledge and awareness of drug and alcohol needs and the services available to support Islington residents through treatment and recovery. There are separate sessions for people working with adults and those working with children and young people. Parents and carers are also very welcome at these sessions.

It can be difficult to talk about drug use or drinking. By accessing the training we hope you will feel more confident to have these difficult conversations. Talking about services can help reduce stigma and empower people to reach out for support. So join us, and let's talk!
