About this event

It is advised that you attend the main Highbury Mansion Tour before joining this tour, (either on the same day or on one of our other Open Days).

Lucy our Activities Planner will take you on a Tour of the rooms not currently used or accessed by the public around Highbury.

This area has lots of steps, uneven surfaces, dark corners and lacks the accessibility measures CHT will introduce during restoration. It is therefore important that sensible foot wear is worn and please bring a torch if you struggle to see in low light as there is no electric lighting on this side of the mansion.

Chamberlain Highbury Trust has been given a Development Grant to bring together surveys, plans and ideas to restore and improve Highbury, making it a real hub for the community.

Get up to speed and share your ideas.

Organised by

The Chamberlain Highbury Trust was established in 2016 to preserve and restore Highbury in Birmingham (once the home of Joseph Chamberlain).

Our aspiration is to make Highbury fully accessible to everyone and regain its rightful place in Birmingham’s historical and cultural landscape.
