This challenging and practical workshop is for professionals and volunteers working with children and families and/or offenders and aims to:

• Improve understanding about the impact of imprisonment on prisoners’ families
• Explore the family’s experience through the offenders’ journey
• Understand the support needs of prisoners’ families
• Increase knowledge of the criminal justice system
• Improve your own practice in order to support a prisoners’ family

Hidden Sentence is a lively, interactive workshop providing an insight into the issues facing prisoners’ families. You will gain new understanding, new skills and take away a range of strategies and practical resources to help you support children and families.
