Event description

In need of improving your digital design and manufacturing skills to support your studies or employability?

Then come along to Hidden Talent in Devon - Design and Make (Almost) Anything at Plymouth College of Art.

Based in Fab Lab Plymouth with its state of the art facilities and machinery, this eight week course teaches participants to use Fusion 360 software. The future of 2D and 3D computer aided design and manufacturing, Fusion 360 is a complete design tool that allows you to store and develop ideas, from concept to production. Relevant in a wealth of industries, from textiles to the built environment, and from toys to tech, Fusion 360 is a great skill to have throughout the creative industries and beyond.

The Design and Make (Almost) Anything course will support the development of your skills across the design and manufacturing aspects of the software package, including sketching, sculpting, scanning 3D objects, 2D laser cutting, 3D printing and CNC machining. The course will culminate in each participant developing a personal project.

And it's all free! This opportunity is fully funded by the European Social Fund.
