CAPE's report, 'Hidden Talents: Core Competencies of Knowledge Mobilisers Working in Public Policy', co-authored with Insights North East and the Wales Centre for Public Policy, explores the world of the knowledge mobiliser.

At this event we will discuss the key findings from the research, looking at the diverse range of skills that are required to work at the interface between academia and policy, and learn more about the report and its competencies

The session will be chaired by Neil Heckels (Impact & Policy Senior Manager, Durham University), and speakers include Jonathan Breckon (Independent Consultant and lead author), Alison Clarke (Capacity and Capabilities Research Associate, Insights North East), and Karri Aston (Head of the Academic Engagement Team, Government Office for Science).
