Water scarcity is establishing itself as one of the top priorities in the worldwide debate, making it increasingly important to control water consumption. Two questions arise spontaneously:
How much water do we actually consume? & How can we reduce people's and industrial water footprint?
There is, indeed, much more to the usage than we can directly note. Besides domestic needs, an even larger share is represented by the water required during the production processes of the food and commodities making part of our daily life.
The “Hidden Water, Symposium", will provide the best answer to these and other questions regarding this issue. The discussion points will be addressed by internationally recognized specialists from universities and the agricultural and industrial sectors through a series of presentations, discussions, and workshops.
At the end of the day,Speed-date sessions will also be organized for students to meet companies and discuss cooperation opportunities, such as internships or Master Thesis proposals.
