Baroque art is drama par excellence. It is religious, profane, mythological and allegorical, but also represents the intimacies of daily life in the 17th century.
During this short talk, we will examine the sculptures and paintings on show at Callisto Fine Art to illustrate some of the main aspects of the Baroque style. You will also discover this period's revolutionary essence and how it has impacted art today.
