Event description

Description

If you’re a start-up with growth potential, register for this free, intensive, one-day workshop.

Delivered by experts with direct experience, the workshop provides the practical tools to move ahead with confidence and speed.

The approach is dynamic, critical and goal-oriented. During the workshop, you’ll create a presentation that develops and encapsulates all aspects of your business. This can be used for investor pitching, brain-storming and project development.

It is an intensive and active day’s work and you’ll go away with a solid foundation for future action. You’ll also be assigned your own free International Trade Adviser by Department for International Trade, to help you access funds for expansion and work with you on strategy and a concrete action plan.

All sectors are eligible, including digital media, ICT, games, life sciences and high-end engineering.

Developed by John Marshall (DIT), Richard Leinfellner (ex-Electronic Arts) and Martin Rigby (ET Capital, Psonar) on behalf of the Department for International Trade (DIT), the workshop focuses on: finding investment, building your company and going to market.

Previous workshop participants have successfully built a road-map, found investment and are growing fast.

DIT International Trade Adviser John Marshall, who is leading the project, said: “We are eager to support start-ups with global potential. We’ve developed this intensive workshop to ensure start-up founders are fully prepared for rapid growth and have a road-map to success. We need to hear from people across the region who’ll be the next generation of business success stories.”

Founders and Senior Managers of Start-ups (of whatever age) with a sustainable competitive advantage. Places are strictly limited to 10 participants so apply now. We will ask you to complete a short series of questions to ensure that the workshop content is right for you, following this you will be sent a confirmation with full details of the event.
