Description

About the course

This course is designed to support secondary MFL teachers who are delivering a knowledge-rich MFL curriculum. The course will model some of the teaching methods inspired by Barry Smith and Gianfranco Conti which can be used to present and engage pupils in the foreign language from using purely the written word. It will illustrate and sequence the different types of high-leverage processing and production activities that might be used when teaching from a sentence builder and core text. This will include a sample scheme of work, resources and further processing tasks to support your pupils and your teaching.

Who should attend?
