About this event
High Sobriety is for people of all identities that reject the need to fuel nights out with alcohol.
It is about happiness and wellness through connection with people and tunes.
It is about enjoying a proper session in safe surroundings.
Hosted by folks who care passionately about electronic music, movement and community, this day/evening rave is taking place at the Skate Sanctuary in Mabgate Mills.
Whilst attendees are more than welcome to go full roller disco by bringing or hiring skates, there is no expectation or pressure on anyone to do so. Instead, party people can get dressed up and lose themselves amid music and good company in whatever form feels good.
And since getting out to events like this can be tricky for some people due to child care, we encourage you to bring the fam along for the afternoon shift, to show them what it means to rave and why it is so important to carry our scene into the future.
Skates are available to hire on the door if required for a small additional fee
Skate hire is available from the front desk for a small additional feen - you can pay by cash or card
Drinking water is available for free (just give our staff your water bottle) and we have a selection of hot and cold drinks and some snacks for sale.
We reserve the right to refuse admission if we believe you are intoxicated.
Our Respect policy remains in place for all events. Read the full policy here.
