Join us on a tree identification walk at our High Weald Celebration Event, which will lead you through Warren Glen, one of the splendid ancient gill woodlands of Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve.

Our knowledgeable guide will:

  • Show you how to identify trees by their bark, leaves, nuts, and other features
  • Share fascinating insights into the historical uses of different trees
  • Answer any questions you may have along the way

This is a wonderful time of year to explore the woodland, discover its rich variety of trees, and take in the stunning views across the Reserve.


This walk is suitable for a medium level of fitness.

Meet at the Bale House Visitor Centre. The car park uses the RingGo app and also takes cash. Please download the app prior to the event.
