About this event

Hand sharpening can be a daunting topic for anyone starting out in woodworking. This workshop clinic will break things down to help you chose the right tool sharpening method to suit you.

This session will look at each of the common hand sharpening methods covering diamond stones, waterstones, self-adhesive plates and abrasives as well as covering honing guides and sharpening systems.

The session will provide an opportunity to get hands on with a variety of sharpening methods and help in choosing a method you feel comfortable. It will also provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about hand sharpening.
