About this Event
Welcome to Highcliffe Castle. Please arrive promptly at your booked time to help us manage visitor numbers; the duration of your visit can be up to two hours. We have considered every aspect of your visitor journey and have introduced the necessary measures to keep you safe.
It is essential that you wear a face covering at all times when inside the building and the Castle Shop (except those individuals with exemptions).
Following Government guidelines, please make sure that you book tickets within your households/support bubbles only and in groups of no more than 6.
Your Highcliffe Castle entrance ticket includes:
-Entry to the Castle via a one-way route, excluding the basement kitchen which is still visible from the ground floor level through glass panels.
-Two hour opportunity to explore the Castle, with a limit of 10 visitors per half an hour.
-Access to sanitiser stations located throughout the visitor route.
-Advice and help from our friendly team who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Accessibility
There is level access throughout the Castle. A lift (with reduced occupancy) is available to the first floor for those who require it. The visitor entrance is through the Castle Shop and the exit will now be through the Octagon which involves a small set of four steps. An alternative exit with level access is available for those who require it.
Car Parking
The pay and display car park on site can be very busy at peak times. Please allow plenty of time to park your vehicle in order to arrive at the Castle entrance for your chosen entry time.
Highcliffe Castle Members and Historic Houses Members
Highcliffe Castle Membership is valid for two people. Please click two complimentary tickets at checkout so we can accurately track our visitor numbers.
For Highcliffe Castle Family Membership, please click four complimentary tickets at checkout.
If you are an Historic Houses member, please click the number of tickets to correspond with the number of members visiting.
Test and Trace
In order to support the NHS Test and Trace programme, we are taking contact details for all visitors, as well as recording times entering and leaving.
We will keep your details safely and in compliance with GDPR legislation for 21 days before securely disposing of or deleting them. We will only share your details with NHS Test and Trace, if asked, in the event that it is needed to help stop the spread of coronavirus. We will not use your details for any other purposes or pass them on to anyone else.
