Welcome to Highcliffe Castle.

Highcliffe Castle will be open to visitors from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 to 16:00 (last entry 15:00).

Please note that tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

We have considered every aspect of your visitor journey and are continuing with the following measures for the time being.

Face coverings are still recommended if coming into contact with people you don’t usually meet and in an enclosed or crowded setting (because it affects others), such as when inside the building and the Castle Shop (except those individuals with exemptions).

Please do not enter the building if you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19.

Your Highcliffe Castle entrance ticket includes:

-Entry to the Castle via the one-way system, excluding the basement kitchen which is still visible from the ground floor level through glass panels.

-Access to sanitiser stations located throughout the visitor route.

-Advice and help from our friendly team who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Car Parking

The pay and display car park on site can be very busy at peak times. Please allow plenty of time to park your vehicle in order to arrive at the Castle entrance for your chosen entry time.

If you are unable to locate parking or have any questions, please call the Castle Team directly on 01202 093 377.

Accessibility

There is level access throughout the Castle. A lift (with reduced occupancy) is available to the first floor for those who require it. The visitor entrance is through the Castle Shop and the exit will now be through the Octagon which involves a small set of four steps. An alternative exit with level access is available for those who require it.

Highcliffe Castle Members and Historic Houses Members

Highcliffe Castle Standard Membership is valid for two people. Please click two complimentary tickets at checkout so we can accurately track our visitor numbers.

Likewise, for Highcliffe Castle Family Membership, please click four complimentary tickets at checkout.

If you are an Historic Houses member, please click the number of tickets to correspond with the number of members visiting.
