Free regional workshops on Masters level assessment
With support from the HEA, PFHEA Sally Brown is offering five half-day workshops around the UK disseminating the outcomes of her National Teaching Fellowship project on innovative Masters level assessment this summer.
Key aims of the project included promoting authentic assessment, exploring innovations designed to enhance employability, using higher levels of learning technologies and promoting student engagement. In this workshop participants will have the opportunity to:
- Discuss issues concerning the boundaries between Masters and undergraduate level assessment;
- Consider some innovative approaches to assessing at Masters level;
- Review options for enhancing assessment in masters programmes.
Colleagues teaching at Higher Education level in universities and colleges are welcome to book a place at one of these events. Lunch and other refreshments will be provided to delegates, so please advise when booking whether you have any dietary or other special needs.
Places will be restricted at each venue so please book by Wednesday 1st May to secure a place. Once you book, the host organisation will send you maps and joining instructions.
