Event description

Higher Education Evening 7.00 pm to 9.30pm Wed 26th April 2017

(Event repeated at 7.00 pm Thurs 27th April 2017)

This evening which is repeated on a second night, due to demand is primarily for Parents to help explain the application to University process, both nationally and within Collyers. We will have speakers commenting upon The UCAS process, the finances involved and student life at Uni. There will be an opportunity for questions and informal conversation with the speakers.

Please be aware this event is likely to be over-subscribed, to help us reach the maximum audience we would ask that students consider restricting tickets to two per family wherever possible.

Please note that the Collyer’s car park will be exceptionally busy that evening, so please aim to arrive 15 mins before the start time, to ensure that you are able to park.

You may wish to use this link to find alternative car park spaces near to the college:

*Though the idea of attending university or searching for a job seems a long way off at this point, it would be wise to start considering attending open days and university taster events or job fairs now as these events book up very quickly. They can help students get a better idea of what they want from this experience. And will allow the opportunity to revisit Universities closer to the decision point.

Students should also consider attending the UCAS Exhibition Convention on 31st March at the Brighton Centre. (Tickets and more information available by following the link on the VLE)
