HE Graduation Awards

Once again we will be recognising three students' outstanding efforts with our HE Graduation Awards for the following:

  • Vice Principal's Award for Scholarship
  • Chair of Governors' Award for Student Engagement
  • Principal's Award for Outstanding Achievement

If you think that you should be considered for any of these awards, talk to your lecturer about the possibility of being nominated.

Gowning and Photography

Gowning and Photography will open in June 2022 and is available to book via the William Northam website.

The majority of our graduands choose to hire a cap and gown to wear during their graduation ceremony. This is supplied by our chosen partner, Robemaker William Northam. Again there is a charge for this. A link will shortly be made available on the College website to book and pay for this. The link will also be sent to you via email. When you receive the link, please choose Leicester College as your graduating institution. On the day, William Northam will bring your cap and gown to the venue, and you will have time to be fitted with them before taking your place.

We offer a competitive package which includes cap, gown and photography. If you choose not to wear graduation robes, we expect all graduands to be in business dress.

We may take photos at this event, which may be published in print or online. If you don’t wish to be photographed please let a member of staff know.

Closer to the event, we will contact you with detailed information about what to expect at a graduation ceremony.

The nearest car park to the venue is Newarke Street Car Park, there is a charge to park in this car park which can be found here. Payment is accepted by cash, card, and contactless payment is in this car park. Leicester College will not reimburse car parking costs.

Parking is free for those who are blue badge holders at this car park. You will need to present your Blue Badge and parking ticket to the window on the ground floor of the car park.
