Description

Faculty of Education: developing your organisation’s workforce through Higher Level Apprenticeships

Canterbury Christ Church University is a Registered Training Provider for Higher Level Apprenticeships. We are working collaboratively and strategically with our partners on developing a range of Higher and Degree Level Apprenticeships which will directly impact on your schools, colleges or learning settings.

Higher and Degree Apprenticeships are at Levels 4,5,6,7 and combine on the job training with studying for a higher level qualification. The Apprenticeship levy was introduced in April 2017 and will be impacting on your budgets. If you are not a levy paying organisation, from May 2017 you will be eligible to access additional funding to support staff development through apprenticeship training routes.

We would like to invite you to a twilight information event where we aim to share what we are currently developing, what the benefits for employers and apprentices are and what you need to know about the apprenticeship levy.

  • Financial implications and the Digital Apprenticeship Service: how to access your money and what support is available.

  • Our Curriculum offer and developing Higher Level Apprenticeship routes

  • Trailblazers and how these work

  • The Teacher in School at Level 6/7

  • The Teacher in Further Education at Level 5

  • A range of routes for Early Years Practitioners at Levels 4 and 5

  • Careers Development Professionals at Level 6
