Meet us on site at 10am - we will meet in the car park at Micklefield Community Centre, Centre Approach, Micklefield Road, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP13 7FY. Parking is available.

Please can we ask everyone to arrive on time to ensure you do not miss the health & safety and task briefing. If you are late and the session has already started, you may not be able to join. Thank you.

The Task:

We will be felling and clearing holly to improve sight lines and regenratre the woodland flora Why not take away some holly for your Christmas table centerpiece!

Timings (please note these timings are approximate):

10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!

10.15: Work begins

11.30: Tea & coffee break

13.00: Lunch Break - please bring your own

15.30: Work finishes, time to go home!

What to bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.

Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.

Please note:

Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.

Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
