This course has been designed for anyone wanting to learn first aid skills, whether it be within a working environment or for personal use

Course Content

The course will cover:

• Dealing with emergencies
• Priorities of treatment
• Dealing with an unconscious casualty
• CPR, Recovery position
• Bleeding and burns
• Other medical emergencies

Benefits of the course

By attending the course learners will receive a great deal of information and therefore knowledge on how to deal with emergencies. First aid does not just apply to workers but to the public also. By providing first aid to a casualty can make all the difference.

Assessment

Throughout the course, learners will have sessions of questions & answers, alongside activities and exercises. Learners will also be assessed through the practical skills of Emergency First Aid. There will be a test paper at the end of the course that learners will need to complete in order to conclude the course.
