This is now the 5th main Highland Social event. The Highland Social is organised by Michelle Russell of Snow Marketing with the support of the main event sponsor, Dynam to allow Highland businesses to network in a 'social' environment with a strong emphasis on social media!
Tickets are only £25 per person and include a Highland cocktail on arrival, canapés created with seasonal local produce and the famous 'social' cupcakes by Cupcake Creations Inverness. This is a great event for Highland businesses already using social media as well as businesses interested in finding out more and getting some advice on where to start.
There will be a few small presentations throughout the evening from guest speakers as well as open discussions and some hints and tips from the experts. Guest speakers for this event will include Rosie from Portraits Skye who will be talking about the imporatnce of using professional images for websites and social media, Mary from Inverness Chamber of Commerce who will be talking about getting the most out of networking events and Mairi from The Drawing Room who will explain how she uses Facebook for the shop. For this event we will also be welcoming special guest David Sim from Open Brolly who will talk about mobile websites and apps...a very relevant topic at the moment!
Local businesses also have the opportunity to sponsor this event with all details and booking form available on the website. All sponsors of the event will have tables on which to display their marketing materials and products which can be viewed throughout the evening.
The Archie Foundation will be present on the evening with a fantastic raffle and there will be once again the opportunity to sponsor cupcakes...get your logo featured on a yummy cupcake! :)

When & Where
The Highland Social first began back in April 2011 at Contrast in Inverness and was set up by Michelle Russell of Snow Marketing to allow businesses from across the Highlands to meet up 'socially' and share their experiences and stories of using social media for business.
Due to success of the first few events the Highland Social was turned into a bi-annual main event with mini seasonal 'Social's' and casual 'Social's' happening in between to keep everyone up to date with the latest social media news!
In 2013 we also introduced the #socialroadtrip which takes the networking events and social media workshops to the road and out across the Highlands.
Each main Highland Social event features the famous 'social' cupcakes by Cupcake Creations Inverness and go down very well!
