HIGHLIGHT REEL EVENTS - Historical and Natural Points of Interest Workshop

Are you passionate about history and work in a historical venue / operate a historical tourism business, are involved in a local history or community group, or simply love all things history/nature then we need to hear from you and we would love for you to join our workshop. We’re looking for your local expertise and passion to help us develop Dumfries & Galloway’s and the area crossing into the Borders best historical and heritage locations to the world.

With the future integration of Dumfries & Galloway onto Scotland Starts Here we are looking for your input and help to ensure our key historical built and natural heritage points of interest are added to our future marketing and campaigns. We have set this workshop up and encourage you and anyone you know to attend and share this with us. Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a survey to complete with your lists of places and must sees. This could be anything from lochs, waterfalls, nature spots right through to castle ruins, standing stones or monuments. We want to ensure the people that know these places best are at the heart of this work and use your expertise to help us create the content for each of these points of interest.

We are also looking for great storytellers in the area as well as audio content to the app and website.
